Metra Electronics 82-7501 6" to 6.75" Speaker Adapter Plate for Mazda 2013-up (pair)

What It Is

The Metra 82-7501 is a pair of black adapter plates that let you mount 6" to 6.75" aftermarket speakers into the front factory locations of select Mazda vehicles from 2013 onward. It is intended for installers or owners who want a direct fit without cutting the original door panels.

Upgrade Context

These plates replace the need for custom fabrication or oversized brackets when moving from the original equipment speakers to a larger aftermarket size. The jump is worth it when the factory openings are too small for the new drivers and a clean, bolt-in installation is preferred over modifying the metal door structure.

Practical Limits

The adapters only cover the front speaker positions and are sized for the 6" to 6.75" range; they will not accommodate smaller 5.25" units or larger 6x9" models. Compatibility is limited to the listed Mazda multi-application fitment, so other makes or earlier model years are not supported.
