What the Metra fabric shaver does

The Metra fabric shaver is a cordless lint remover built for home textiles and clothing. Its dual-head design and two high-speed motors clear pills and fuzz from sweaters, upholstery, bedding and jersey fabrics in minutes. The 2500 mAh battery runs for 2.5 hours and recharges through a USB-C port.

Limits of the USB-C rechargeable battery

A full charge takes about two hours and yields roughly 2.5 hours of continuous use. The USB-C input accepts standard phone chargers or power banks, but the device cannot run while plugged in. Heavy sessions on large furniture may require a mid-job recharge.

Installing the shaver and common issues

No assembly is needed beyond attaching the honeycomb screen cover and ensuring it clicks into place; the safety switch stops the motor if the cover is loose. The built-in anti-static brush folds out from the back for quick cleanup. Empty the lint container frequently to maintain airflow and cutting speed.
