Metra Goo Gone 12 Oz Spray Gel

Metra Goo Gone Adhesive Remover Spray Gel is a 12-ounce citrus-based gel that clings to vertical surfaces to dissolve glue, stickers, tape residue, grease, gum and wax. The non-drip formula works on hard surfaces, carpets and fabrics without damaging finishes. It includes a scraper tool for easier removal of stubborn adhesive messes.

Best for home, auto and workshop cleanup

This remover suits anyone needing a surface-safe gel for label residue, crayon marks, gum or grease on finished wood, glass, metal, plastic, painted surfaces, ceramic, porcelain, upholstery and automotive interiors. It is not for buyers who require a liquid spray that penetrates fast, a fragrance-free formula, or a product certified for food-contact surfaces.

2026 Good Housekeeping Cleaning Award winner

The spray gel earned a 2026 Good Housekeeping Cleaning Award, confirming its performance on tough sticky messes. This recognition indicates the formula reliably loosens adhesives for wipe-away cleanup. Use this award as the key benchmark when comparing adhesive removers.

Questions about this item

Does the 12 oz spray gel come with a scraper or do I need to buy one separately?

The package includes a scraper along with the 12 oz spray gel, so no separate purchase is needed.

How do I decide between the spray gel and a liquid version for removing sticker residue from glass?

The thick spray gel clings to vertical glass surfaces without dripping, giving the citrus formula more time to break down adhesive before you wipe or scrape it away.

What does the 2026 Good Housekeeping Cleaning Award tell me about performance on dried glue in a real kitchen?

It confirms the gel formula was tested and recognised for effectively dissolving tough, dried-on glue and label residue on typical kitchen surfaces.
