Metra MAS ABC-16 Airbrush Cleaner

Metra MAS ABC-16 is a 16-ounce fast-acting cleaning solution designed for all airbrush types. The non-toxic formula meets ASTM D-4236 standards for a safe, low-odour experience. It penetrates water-based acrylics, gouache, watercolors, inks, dyes, makeup, tanning solution and cake decorating colours. Regular use extends airbrush life by keeping the tool clean and ready for use.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Artists, hobbyists and cake decorators who need quick colour changes and thorough post-session cleaning will benefit. The concentrated liquid also softens dried paint on brushes and technical pens, and works in ultrasonic cleaners. Buyers who require a solvent for oil-based enamels, lacquers or automotive clear coats cannot use this water-based formula. Anyone needing a larger bulk container for high-volume studio throughput should consider a different size.

Build integration — what it needs and what it frees

The bottle fits on any workbench shelf and requires no special storage beyond a sealed cap. No additional hardware, power or ventilation equipment is needed for normal use. It frees the user from soaking parts in harsh chemicals and reduces downtime between colour changes. For deep clogs the airbrush must be disassembled so needle, nozzle and air cap can be cleaned separately.
