Metra Microfiber Gap Duster Extendable 26-55 Inches
This Metra duster uses a stainless-steel pole that extends from 26 to 55 inches and a bendable microfiber head just 0.3 inch thick. It reaches under appliances, furniture and cabinets without moving heavy items. The 0.7-inch joint diameter slips into tight gaps between floors and low-clearance objects. The microfiber cover removes for washing and reuse.
Thermals noise and power draw in normal use
No motor, battery or electrical components are present, so the tool produces zero noise and draws no power during cleaning. The stainless-steel pole resists rust and stays at ambient temperature. The lightweight 0.14-kilogram build adds no strain during extended wiping sessions across hardwood, tile or laminate floors.
Behaviour under sustained load rather than short
The extendable pole locks at any length between 26 and 55 inches, maintaining rigidity while you sweep long stretches under beds, fridges or sofas. The bendable head holds its angled shape across repeated passes, collecting dust and hair without shedding fibres. After heavy use the removable cover rinses clean and reattaches for the next round.

Questions about this item
How do I attach the microfiber head to the stainless steel pole without stripping the joint?
Slide the microfiber cover over the bendable head until it seats against the .7 inch diameter joint; the cover stretches to fit and the head locks in place without tools.
When will the microfiber cover need replacing, and how do I clean it in the meantime?
Remove the cover and wash with water; air dry completely before refitting. Replace only when fibres no longer trap dust after washing.
At what extended length does the pole start to flex noticeably during use?
The stainless steel pole extends from 26 to 55 inches; flex becomes noticeable near the 55 inch mark when pressure is applied to the .3 inch thick head.
