Two-Pack Windshield Oil Film Cleaner

This two-pack set provides an automotive oil film cleaning brush for windshields and exterior glass. It is intended for drivers who need to remove stubborn oil haze, road grime and residue that reduce visibility. The brush-style applicator delivers controlled coverage on glass surfaces. Buyers who require interior plastic cleaning or a product safe for all tinted films without testing should look elsewhere.

Brush Applicator for Controlled Application

The integrated liquid brush opens at the cover so you can wipe the surface directly without extra tools. Pre-clean the glass, apply in small sections and let the formula dwell as directed before rinsing or wiping clean. The no-rinse feature simplifies the process, though the label still advises a final rinse or wipe for best results. Test first on coated or tinted areas and avoid plastics or interior surfaces.

Hydrophobic Rain-Repellent Coating

The formula leaves a hydrophobic layer that causes water to bead and run off, improving wet-weather visibility. This coating also helps reduce fog formation on exterior glass. The treatment works on windshields, windows, mirrors and similar glass surfaces. Reapply as needed to maintain the water-repellent effect.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Metra OFC2024 brush is removing oil film effectively after application?

After applying the product in small sections and letting it dwell as directed, rinse or wipe the glass clean; a streak-free, water-beading surface that repels rain and resists fog indicates the hydrophobic coating is working and the oil film has been removed.

What comes in the Metra OFC2024 2-pack and is any extra equipment needed?

The package contains two white brush-style applicators pre-filled with the no-rinse cleaning formula; no additional tools or liquids are required for use on exterior glass.

Which Metra OFC2024 version should I choose for a standard windshield and side windows?

The single listed model OFC2024 is a 2-pack brush applicator with hydrophobic coating, designed for windshields, windows, mirrors and other exterior glass — there are no alternative capacities or versions to select from.
