Metra PowerSuds 51.5 oz Refill

This 51.5 oz refill jug supplies Dawn PowerSuds liquid dish soap for household kitchens. The formula traps and locks grease so it does not redeposit across items. It suits anyone who hand-washes pots, pans, glassware and plastic containers and wants a long-lasting suds supply.

Simple pour-and-reuse setup

Refilling a reusable bottle takes seconds: open the jug, pour into your existing dispenser, and close both caps. The only common issue is spillage if the jug is tipped too quickly; pour slowly over the sink to avoid mess. No tools or dilution are required.

Check bottle compatibility first

Ensure your current Dawn bottle opening fits the jug spout and that you have shelf space for the 6.29 x 2.83 x 11.22 inch container. The refill weighs 3.9 pounds when full, so verify the storage surface can support it. Buyers who prefer a spray or foam format, or who need an automatic dispenser refill, should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 51.5 oz refill is dispensing correctly after I top up my bottle?

Squeeze the liquid onto a wet sponge; if it produces thick, long-lasting suds that cut through grease on the first pass and water sheets off the dishes without spots, the refill is working as intended.

What comes in the package and what must I supply myself?

The box contains one 51.5 oz jug of Dawn PowerSuds liquid dish soap; you will need to provide your own reusable squeeze bottle or dispenser to decant the refill.

Which version of the 51.5 oz refill should I choose?

Only one version is offered — the Fresh Rain scent in a 51.5 oz refill jug (model P_11922) — so there are no alternative capacities or fragrances to select from.
