Metra Rechargeable Fabric Shaver Dark Grey

The Metra fabric shaver removes lint and pills from clothing, upholstery and soft furnishings using a six-leaf stainless-steel blade. It is designed for home users who want a rechargeable tool with a digital display and three speed settings for different fabric types.

Installation and common issues

The unit arrives ready to use after a one-hour charge via the supplied cable; no assembly is required. The most frequent problem occurs when the mesh cover is not fully secured, which triggers the safety lock and stops the motor until the cover is correctly refitted.

What to check before ordering

Verify that the fabrics you intend to treat are suitable for mechanical shaving, as delicate or loosely knitted materials may be damaged even on the lowest speed. Ensure you have a USB power source available for recharging the built-in battery when the display indicates low power.
