Two-pack reusable scrubber for kitchen

The Metra Skoy Scrub comes as a two-pack of reusable, non-scratching scrubbers made from remnant cotton fibers and a non-toxic hardener. They are designed for cleaning cookware and surfaces such as cast iron, glass, ceramic and most non-stick pans. Each scrubber weighs 0.03 kilograms and measures 6 L x 5 W x 0.25 H inches. The product is dishwasher safe and manufactured in Europe.

Replaces disposable scouring pads and sponges

These scrubbers replace traditional green scouring pads, steel wool, brillo pads and single-use sponges. The jump is worth it when you want a longer-lasting option that reduces waste and can be cleaned repeatedly in the dishwasher. The supplier states the scrubbers outlast conventional pads, saving money over time. They have been produced under the Skoy brand since 2007.

Simple to use and maintain

Installation is not required; the scrubbers are ready to use straight from the pack. Cleaning is done by placing them on the top rack of a dishwasher or by rubbing the scrubber against itself to dislodge food particles. What usually goes wrong is using them on delicate surfaces without testing first, which may cause scratches despite the non-scratching design.

Questions about this item

How much counter space does the 6 L x 5 W x 0.25 H inch scrubber need?

Each pad measures six inches long by five inches wide and only a quarter inch thick, so it stores flat in a drawer or hangs on a hook without crowding the sink area.

What is the first step to install the scrubber for dishwasher cleaning?

Place the used scrubber on the top rack of the dishwasher and run a normal cycle; skipping the top-rack placement can let it fall onto the heating element.

When should the cotton-and-resin pad be replaced?

Replace it once the scrub surface no longer releases food particles after rubbing the pad against itself or after a dishwasher cycle.
