Five-Piece Stem-Mount Set

This Metra caster set contains five 11 x 22 mm stem-mount wheels finished in black. The package includes gloves, a crowbar and instructions so the casters can be fitted to compatible office or gaming chairs without extra tools.

Sustained Rolling Behaviour

Precision ball bearings and a soft polyurethane shell keep movement smooth and quiet during long periods of use on carpet or hardwood. The bearing design resists the stiction that builds up after hours of stationary load, so the chair breaks away cleanly each time.

Upgrade From Standard Plastic Casters

The set replaces the basic nylon or hard-rubber wheels fitted to many stock chairs, eliminating floor scuffs and the gritty rumble that develops as those originals wear. The improvement is most noticeable on mixed flooring where a single wheel type usually compromises either grip or silence.

Questions about this item

How much noise and vibration do the precision ball bearings produce after hours of rolling?

The precision ball bearings and soft polyurethane wheel-shell are designed for silky smooth and quiet gliding, making them suitable for shared offices or home use near sleeping babies.

What stem size must my chair already have for these 11x22mm casters to fit?

These casters use an 11mm diameter by 22mm length stem mount, so your chair base must accept that exact stem dimension.

Will the 3-inch diameter wheels roll smoothly on the same carpet and hardwood floors my older casters struggle with?

The 3-inch polyurethane wheels with precision ball bearings are built for smooth, silent gliding on both carpet and hardwood surfaces.
