Metra Ultrasonic Retainer Cleaner UV (Pink)

Ultrasonic cleaning for dental appliances

The Metra Ultrasonic Retainer Cleaner UV uses 45KHz ultrasonic waves and four UV lamps to remove food debris, stains and plaque from retainers, aligners, dentures and braces. It also cleans toothbrush heads, rings and jewellery within a 200ML capacity tank. The unit measures 12.9032 by 12.9032 by 15.0876 centimetres and operates without any liquid cleaning agents.

Two timed modes with automatic safety cut-off

A green indicator runs a five-minute ultrasonic and UV cycle while a blue indicator runs a ten-minute pulsed cycle with UV. The device shuts off automatically when the internal temperature reaches 100 degrees and the manufacturer recommends cooling for ten minutes after thirty minutes of continuous use. Noise reduction technology lowers operating sound by 60 percent.

Suits home users wanting chemical-free appliance

Buyers who need a compact, quiet unit for daily retainer or aligner care will find the two preset cycles straightforward. Those who require larger capacity for multiple dentures, variable timer control or a heater function should look at something else.
