7oz Interior Cleaning Gel

Metra W5202 is a reusable blue putty gel that lifts dust from car vents, dashboards, door handles and similar tight spots. Press it onto the surface and pull up to trap particles without leaving residue. The 7oz tub provides enough material for multiple detailing sessions.

Suitable for car owners and keyboard users

Ideal for anyone wanting a single cleaner for vehicle interiors, computer keyboards, laptops, remotes and small electronics. Not suited for buyers who need a liquid spray for large upholstery areas or a disinfectant that kills bacteria. The gel cannot replace dedicated fabric or leather care products.

Reusable until the gel darkens

The compound can be used repeatedly until it visibly darkens with collected dirt. Made from non-toxic material that does not stick to hands or cause irritation. Each tub weighs 0.24 kilograms and measures 2.9 by 2.9 by 2.76 inches.

Questions about this item

How do I know when the 7oz cleaning gel needs replacing?

The gel darkens as it traps dust; once it turns noticeably darker it has reached its capacity and should be discarded.

What stops me from using the gel on a heavily soiled surface?

The putty is designed for loose dust in vents, panels and keyboards; caked-on grime or liquids will saturate it quickly and reduce its reusable life.

Does the 0.24 kg tub get warm or smell after a full day of detailing?

The non-toxic formula stays at room temperature and produces no noticeable odour during extended use.
