What this scale does

The Mi CX-001 Mini digital kitchen scale weighs up to 22 lb with 1 g resolution and shows results in grams, kilograms, pounds, ounces, millilitres or milk millilitres. A built-in tare function subtracts container weight so only the ingredient is measured. The platform is food-grade 304 stainless steel for simple cleaning.

Power and daily use

Two alkaline AAA cells are included and the unit shuts off automatically after three minutes of inactivity. The thin 0.7 in profile and 5.5 in width let it slide into a drawer or cupboard without taking up counter space.

Included accessories

Batteries are supplied so the scale works immediately. The only extra step is placing a bowl, pressing tare, then adding ingredients — no software, apps or calibration tools are bundled.

Questions about this item

How do I install the two AAA batteries and what step do people often miss?

Open the battery compartment on the underside, insert the two included AAA alkaline cells matching the polarity marks, then close the cover; the step many miss is pressing the Z/T/ON/OFF button once after installation to wake the scale before first use.

What maintenance will the 304 stainless-steel platform need over time?

Wipe the platform with a damp cloth after each use and dry it thoroughly; avoid immersing the unit or using abrasive cleaners so the food-grade surface stays hygienic and the load sensors remain accurate.

At what weight does the 22 lb capacity limit stop the scale from reading?

The scale measures up to 22 lb (10 kg); loads above that show an overload indicator and will not return a weight value until the excess is removed.
