Portable Bluetooth speaker for outdoor listening

The MIATONE BOOMBOX Q12 is a 16-watt portable speaker built for music on the move. Its surround-sound 4.2 configuration and passive amplification suit listeners who want louder output than a phone can give without carrying a large system. The green mesh fabric and silicone end caps are made for garden, beach or campsite use.

Fits in a bag and runs on its own battery

Bluetooth 5.3 connects to a phone or tablet up to 10 metres away with no cables required. The internal battery delivers up to 17 hours of playback at half volume, dropping to 3 hours at maximum level. A supplied aux-in cable adds a wired option for non-Bluetooth sources, while the charging cable tops up the pack between sessions.

Steps up from ultra-compact clip speakers

The 2-inch woofers and 80-decibel signal-to-noise ratio provide noticeably fuller bass and cleaner highs than palm-sized units rated below 10 watts. Buyers who need stereo pairing, multi-room sync or a built-in power bank for charging other devices will not find those features here.
