Carbide engraving tool with a 60-degree tip and 0.0100 in width for 1/2 in depth of cut
This Micro 100 engraving tool is a single uncoated carbide cutter with a 60 degree included angle. It is intended for machinists and fabricators who need precise V-groove engraving or chamfering in a range of materials. The 1/2 inch length of cut provides reach for shallow detailing work. The tool is supplied new and ready for use in compatible holders.
A fresh 60 degree carbide engraver replaces dull high-speed steel or multi-angle tools that leave inconsistent groove profiles. The jump is worth it when repeatable angle accuracy and longer edge life reduce scrap on production runs. Carbide hardness maintains the 60 degree geometry through extended cuts in aluminium, plastics and softer steels. Orders of 75 or more ship free directly from the manufacturer.
Verify that your tool holder accepts the shank diameter implied by the RSC-250-120 designation and that the machine spindle can run at speeds suitable for uncoated carbide. Confirm the 0.0100 inch tip width matches the feature size required by your engraving programme. Ensure the 1/2 inch length of cut clears the workpiece fixtures without interference. The item is not restricted for sale in any state.

The tool has a 1/2 in shank, so it fits any standard 1/2 in toolholder or collet without an adapter.
Clamp the 1/2 in shank securely, then tighten the holder evenly; forcing the tip into a misaligned collet cracks the uncoated carbide.
Replace it when the 0.0100 in point shows visible wear or the 60-degree angle no longer cuts clean lines in the workpiece.
