Microchip Technology Inc.
Delivers up to 60W per port across 24 IEEE 802.3bt-compliant PoE channels for high-power devices
This Microchip Technology Inc. PD9524GCACUS is a 24-port Power over Ethernet midspan that delivers up to 60 Watts per port. It provides an IEEE 802.3bt-compliant solution for powering high-demand network devices such as 802.11 access points, PTZ cameras and IP videophones.
Before ordering, confirm that your existing network switch has 24 available data ports to pair with this midspan. Ensure the connected endpoints support IEEE 802.3bt or the earlier 802.3 standard to accept 60W power delivery. Check that your cabling meets the required category rating for the intended link distance and power level.
The unit installs inline between your data switch and powered devices, adding PoE capability without replacing the core switch. It frees up AC outlets at camera or access-point locations by supplying power over the Ethernet cable. Designed for indoor deployment, it suits managed builds needing centralized power for thin clients and dome cameras.

The unit is a 24-port midspan injector; mounting hardware and AC power cords are sold separately.
Select the 60W version when powering IEEE 802.11 access points, PTZ cameras or other endpoints that require up to 60 Watts per port.
Each of the 24 ports can deliver up to 60 Watts to a connected device, compliant with IEEE 802.3bt, so high-power endpoints receive full power without separate injectors.
