Microsemi Corporation
A single-port PoE midspan injector delivering 30 watts over 10/100/1000 BaseT from an AC supply
This Microsemi midspan injector delivers up to 30 W of power over a single 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet link. It accepts AC mains input and adds power onto the data cable for one remote device. The unit is supplied new in black.
Network technicians who need to add high-power PoE to a single access point, camera or VoIP phone without replacing the existing switch will find this injector a direct fit. It is not suited for installations that require multiple powered ports or passive PoE voltages.
The injector provides 30 W on its single output port, which determines whether a connected device can start and run reliably. If the powered device draws more than this limit, a higher-capacity midspan or switch will be needed.

The injector passes 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps data while delivering up to 30 W of power over the same cable.
It measures 9.000 by 3.000 units and weighs .9, so it fits on a desktop or shelf without a rack mount.
Plug the AC input into mains power, run a data cable from your switch to the injector's input port, then connect the output port to the powered device.
