Digital Horde Booster Pack

This downloadable pack delivers fifteen Horde boosters for Gears of War 4 on Xbox One and Windows 10. It contains four Horde Skill cards and one consumable Horde Bounty card per booster. An Xbox account and the base game are required to activate and use the content. The digital code is redeemed through the Microsoft Store.

Progression Upgrade for Horde Players

The bundle replaces the need to purchase individual boosters by granting ten paid packs plus five bonus packs. The jump is worth it when you want to accelerate Horde skill acquisition across multiple classes without repeated transactions. Minimum PC requirements include Windows 10 version 1607, DirectX 12, an i5-4690 or AMD FX 6 Core, a 750 Ti or R7 260x with 2 GB VRAM, 8 GB RAM and 90 GB storage.

Horde Mode Enthusiasts Only

Suits players who already own Gears of War 4 and focus on Horde multiplayer progression. Not for buyers who want campaign additions, versus maps, or cosmetic items. Not for accounts without an Xbox profile or a Windows 10 installation meeting the listed specifications.

Questions about this item

Does the 90 GB install size fit on my Windows 10 v. 1607 drive?

The base game requires 90 GB of free space on Windows 10 v. 1607 or later; this DLC adds only the Horde Skill and Bounty cards so no extra capacity is needed.

I redeem the code on my Xbox account but the boosters do not appear in Horde — what step am I missing?

You must own and install the base Gears of War 4 on Xbox One or Windows 10 first; the 10 Horde Boosters plus 5 free unlock only after the main game is present and the code is redeemed on the same account.

Will the Horde Skill and Bounty cards from this pack expire or need renewal later?

The 4 Horde Skill cards and consumable Bounty card are permanent additions to your inventory; they do not expire and no further purchase is required to keep using them in Horde multiplayer.
