Dead Rising 4 Standard Edition

Dead Rising 4 is a downloadable action-adventure game published by Microsoft for Xbox One. Players control photojournalist Frank West as he investigates a new zombie outbreak in an open-world sandbox environment. The Standard Edition provides the complete base game experience through a digital code.

Sustained open-world exploration

The game encourages extended play sessions through its large map filled with side missions, collectibles and crafting systems. Weapon durability and resource management create ongoing tension during long scavenging runs. EXO Suits add temporary power spikes that punctuate the steady rhythm of exploration and combat.

Mature-rated zombie action

The ESRB M rating for blood and intense violence defines the core audience. Buyers seeking family-friendly or non-violent gameplay should look elsewhere. The digital DRM ties the licence to an Xbox One account, so players without that platform cannot use the code.

Questions about this item

Does running this digital game all day raise the temperature or fan noise of my Xbox One?

The game runs on the console hardware you already own, so heat and noise depend on that system's cooling, not on the digital licence itself.

What account and console are required before I can redeem the Xbox One digital code?

You need an Xbox Live account and an Xbox One console connected to the internet to redeem and download the Standard Edition.

Can I play this Xbox One version on the original Xbox console I still have?

The DRM is tied to Xbox One, so the digital code will not work on the original Xbox hardware.
