What it is

The Microsoft EP2-32033 Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard in Slate turns a compatible Surface Pro into a laptop-style device. It is designed for users who want a premium typing experience and expanded usage options with a dedicated Copilot key for AI features.

How it fits

The accessory attaches to the Surface Pro using a dynamic hinge that flexes 360 degrees, enabling multiple postures on a lap or table. Its web-style architecture improves stability, while the backlit keyboard and spacious touchpad free the user from carrying separate input devices.

Questions about this item

How far back does the dynamic hinge flex when I use the keyboard on my lap all day?

The new dynamic hinge flexes 360 degrees, enabling more postures and better stability with its web-style architecture whether on your lap or a table.

Does the backlit keyboard or spacious touchpad generate noticeable heat or noise during extended typing sessions?

The keyboard has no moving parts or active cooling, so it runs silently and produces no measurable heat during all-day use.

Which Surface Pro model must I already own for this Slate keyboard to attach and function?

This keyboard is made for the Surface Pro 12-inch; it attaches magnetically and draws power directly from that specific device.
