Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard Violet

The Microsoft EP2-32727 is a genuine tablet accessory that converts the Surface Pro 12-inch into a laptop-style device. A dynamic hinge flexes 360 degrees to enable multiple working postures. The keyboard features backlit keys and a spacious touchpad for navigation. Dedicated keys provide one-touch access to Copilot AI experiences, snipping, microphone mute and a lock function.

Suited for users wanting laptop ergonomics

This accessory suits owners of a compatible Surface Pro 12-inch who want a premium typing experience with better stability on a lap or desk. The violet colour adds a distinctive look. Buyers who need a keyboard for a different tablet size or a non-Surface device should look elsewhere. Anyone requiring a keyboard without a trackpad or dedicated Copilot key will not find those variants here.

Build integration and flexibility

The keyboard attaches directly to the Surface Pro 12-inch and draws power through that connection, so no separate charging is required. Its web-style architecture improves stability whether the setup rests on a table or on the user's lap. The 360-degree hinge frees the user to adjust the viewing angle for typing, drawing or presenting. The dedicated keys streamline common shortcuts without extra software configuration.

Questions about this item

Which Surface Pro model must I already own for the 12-inch Keyboard EP2-32727 to attach and function?

The keyboard is made for the Surface Pro 12-inch, so that exact tablet model is required for the magnetic connector and dynamic hinge to work.

Will the 360-degree dynamic hinge on this Violet keyboard stay stable if I keep using an original Surface Pro kickstand?

The new web-style architecture gives better stability on lap or table regardless of the kickstand angle, and the hinge flexes 360 degrees independently.

How can I confirm the Copilot key and backlight are working after I snap the keyboard onto my Surface Pro 12-inch?

Press the dedicated Copilot key — AI experiences should launch — and check that the sleek backlit keys illuminate in low light.
