Microsoft EP2-32892 Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard Slate

Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard Slate

This genuine Microsoft accessory adds a full-size backlit keyboard and precision touchpad to a Surface Pro. The slate-coloured matte palm rest is durable and easy to wipe clean. It is designed for daily work or play on a compatible Surface Pro device. The compact layout keeps the tablet portable while providing a comfortable typing experience.

Build integration and freedoms

The keyboard attaches magnetically to the Surface Pro and draws power directly from the tablet, so no separate charging or cables are required. It folds flat against the screen for protection during transport. The integrated touchpad removes the need to carry an external mouse for cursor control. The slim profile adds minimal bulk to the device in a bag.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers who want a first-party keyboard with backlighting and a responsive glass touchpad for their Surface Pro will find this model matches the device aesthetics. Users needing a detachable keyboard with adjustable viewing angles or a built-in trackpoint should look elsewhere. Anyone using a non-Surface tablet or requiring wireless Bluetooth pairing must choose a different accessory.
