Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard with Slim Pen

This genuine Microsoft accessory turns a Surface Pro 12-inch device into a laptop with a premium typing experience. It includes the Surface Slim Pen for uninterrupted creativity. The Ocean colour option distinguishes this model. It is designed for users who want to expand the usage options of their compatible tablet.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that you own a Surface Pro 12-inch tablet, as this keyboard is made specifically for that device. The dynamic hinge flexes 360 degrees and uses a web-style architecture for stability on a lap or table. Ensure your workflow benefits from dedicated keys such as the Copilot key, snipping key, microphone mute and lock key. Buyers who need a keyboard for other tablet models or non-Surface devices should look elsewhere.

Build integration and workflow

The backlit keyboard and spacious touchpad integrate directly with the tablet, requiring no separate pairing for core functions. The Slim Pen features a built-in haptic motor, customisable buttons and a sharp tip, and is stored within the keyboard unit. Up to 15 hours of battery life supports extended mobile work sessions. This accessory frees you from carrying a separate laptop and pen case.

How long will the Slim Pen actually last between charges when I am writing and sketching on the Surface Pro 12-inch?

Microsoft rates the Slim Pen for up to 15 hours of battery life under typical creative workloads, and it recharges while magnetically docked to the keyboard's storage tray.
