Copilot+ PC with Snapdragon X Plus

The Microsoft Surface Pro EP2-33674 is a 12-inch tablet running Windows 11 Home on an 8-core Snapdragon X Plus processor. It integrates 16GB of memory and 512GB of UFS storage within a Violet chassis that weighs 1.5 lbs. A PixelSense touchscreen, dual cameras and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity complete the device-only package.

Suited for mobile professionals and students

This configuration suits users who prioritise all-day battery life, silent fanless operation and a lightweight 2-in-1 form factor for inking, video calls and cloud-based workflows. Buyers needing discrete graphics performance, user-upgradeable storage or more than two USB-C ports should evaluate alternative devices.

Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports define connectivity

The tablet provides exactly two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connections for charging, data and external displays. No other wired interfaces are present, so docking, peripheral expansion or Ethernet access requires a compatible hub or adapter.

Questions about this item

How long can the 45W USB-C charger keep the tablet running before the battery itself needs replacement?

Microsoft rates the battery for up to 16 hours of typical use on a full charge; the 45W USB-C adapter recharges the internal pack, which is not user-replaceable, so any capacity loss after many cycles would require professional service.

Which component hits its thermal limit first when the Snapdragon X Plus 8-Core runs sustained workloads?

The fanless design relies on the aluminium chassis to spread heat from the Adreno GPU and CPU cores; under continuous load the skin temperature rises until the processor throttles to stay within its thermal envelope.

What is the audible noise level and surface temperature when the device runs all day on Wi-Fi 7?

With no moving fan the tablet is silent in normal use; extended Wi-Fi 7 activity warms the rear casing to a noticeable but safe warmth while the system manages power draw to stay within the 45W adapter capacity.
