Ergonomic USB Keyboard for French Business Users

The Microsoft RJY-00002 is a wired keyboard built for professional environments that require a French layout. Its ergonomic shape supports a more natural hand position during long typing sessions. The black finish suits standard office aesthetics and the USB connection ensures immediate compatibility with current Windows systems.

Wired USB Connection Removes Wireless Overhead

The single USB cable delivers both power and data without batteries or a separate receiver. This eliminates pairing steps, latency concerns and the need to manage spare cells or charging cycles. IT teams can deploy the unit across workstations using a standard port and the fixed cable reduces the risk of lost dongles in shared spaces.

Full-Size Layout Covers Standard Office Workloads

The keyboard provides a complete key set including a numeric keypad for spreadsheet entry and dedicated function keys for application shortcuts. It handles continuous typing, data input and general navigation without layout gaps. Users who need a compact form factor, macro programmability or multi-device switching will find this model does not address those requirements.

Questions about this item

How often should the USB cable be inspected or replaced on the RJY-00002 keyboard?

The wired USB cable is fixed to the keyboard and is not designed for user replacement; inspect it periodically for wear near the connector and replace the whole unit if the cable frays.

What is the first limit reached during continuous all-day typing on the Microsoft RJY-00002?

The fixed USB cable length is the primary constraint, restricting how far the keyboard can sit from the host port during extended sessions.

Does the RJY-00002 keyboard generate noticeable heat or noise when used all day?

The keyboard has no active cooling or moving parts, so it runs silently and stays at ambient temperature even during prolonged use.
