Expansion Campaign for Halo Wars 2 Owners

Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare is a downloadable expansion that adds a new single-player campaign and multiplayer leaders to the base real-time strategy game. It is built for players who already own Halo Wars 2 on Xbox One or Windows 10 and want more story content featuring the Banished faction. The digital code delivers the DLC directly to the account without physical media.

Adds Flood Missions Beyond the Season Pass

This expansion is not included in the Halo Wars 2 Season Pass, so owners of that pass still need a separate purchase to access the new campaign. The jump is worth it when you have completed the main story and want to play as the Banished against the awakened Flood threat. It also adds fresh multiplayer leaders for online matches, extending the strategic options beyond the original release.

Runs on Modest Hardware at Minimum Settings

The minimum specification calls for a 64-bit Windows 10 14393 OS, DirectX 12 Feature Level 11, an Intel i5-2500 or AMD FX-4350 CPU, 6 GB RAM, and a GTX 650 Ti, Radeon HD 7750 or Intel HD 520 GPU with 2 GB VRAM. Recommended 1080p 60 play steps up to an Intel Core i5-4690K or AMD FX-8350, 8 GB RAM, and a GTX 1060 or RX 480 with 4 GB VRAM. Ultra targets an Intel Core i7-6700K or AMD FX-9590, 16 GB RAM, and a GTX 1080 or R9 Fury X with 8 GB VRAM. All tiers require 25 GB storage.
