Microsoft Gears 5: Hivebusters DLC 7CN-00082 downloadable game

Hivebusters DLC for Gears 5

Gears 5: Hivebusters is a downloadable expansion for the base game Gears 5. It lets players return to the franchise with a new story campaign starring the Scorpio Squad characters. The add-on is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows 10 devices. It is sold as a new digital code and requires the base game to play.

Thermal noise and power profile

As a digital download the product has no physical hardware, so it generates no heat, noise or power draw of its own. Performance depends entirely on the host device meeting the minimum requirements such as Windows 10 version 18362.0 or higher and an x64 architecture. The expansion runs within the existing Gears 5 engine on the host system.

Build integration and requirements

The DLC adds roughly three hours of campaign content set on the volcanic Galangi islands and introduces a new predator enemy. It supports up to three-player co-op online or in split-screen and adds 16 new achievements worth 210 Gamerscore. An Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold membership is required for some modes on console. The download frees no local storage beyond the game's existing footprint.
