Copilot+ PC for AI workflows

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 8 EP2-55108 is a Copilot+ PC built for professionals who rely on on-device AI acceleration. An Intel Core Ultra 7 368H processor with a 5 GHz turbo frequency works alongside 32GB DDR5 memory and a 512GB SSD. The 15.0-inch PixelSense touchscreen runs at 3270 x 2180 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Windows 11 Pro and Wi-Fi 7 complete the platform.

Sustained load on Ultra 7 368H and Arc B390

Under continuous workloads the Intel Core Ultra 7 368H maintains high frequencies across its compute tiles while the Intel Arc B390 graphics handles parallel tasks. The 32GB DDR5 memory pool feeds both CPU and GPU without swapping to the 512GB SSD. Wi-Fi 7 keeps network-bound jobs moving. The system is designed to sustain this balance rather than spike for short bursts.

Thermals noise and power in daily use

In typical office and creative use the chassis stays comfortable to the touch and fan noise remains low. The PixelSense display at 120 Hz adds modest power draw but the 512GB SSD and DDR5 memory are efficient. The 5 megapixel webcam and Bluetooth peripherals have minimal thermal impact. Windows 11 Pro manages background activity to keep acoustics and surface temperatures consistent.

Questions about this item

How loud does the fan get when the Core Ultra 7 368H runs at 5 GHz all day?

The Intel Core Ultra 7 368H reaches a 5 GHz turbo frequency. Under sustained load the Arc B390 graphics and CPU share the cooling system, so fan speed rises with combined thermal demand.

Which dock or port replicator works with the Surface Laptop 8 EP2-55108 for extra monitors?

The EP2-55108 includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth for wireless peripherals. Video output and wired docking depend on the USB-C implementation Microsoft chose for this chassis.

Can I keep using my older USB-A flash drives and HDMI monitor with this 15" Copilot+ PC?

The 15" PixelSense touchscreen runs at 3270 x 2180 and 120 Hz. Legacy USB-A and HDMI devices require the appropriate adapter or hub connected via the available USB-C ports.
