15-inch Snapdragon X2 Elite Notebook

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 8 EP2-60310 is a 15-inch touchscreen notebook powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. It comes with 32 GB of memory and a 1 TB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the device supports Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Suited to mobile professionals needing ARM

This configuration suits users who value a high-resolution PixelSense display, long battery life on ARM architecture and a lightweight 5.3 lbs chassis. Buyers who require discrete graphics performance, legacy port selections or user-serviceable components should evaluate alternative form factors.

32 GB unified memory capacity

The 32 GB memory configuration is the decisive specification for multitasking headroom and AI workload capacity. This fixed allocation cannot be upgraded after purchase, so workflows that demand larger memory pools must select a different tier at point of sale.

Questions about this item

How does the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor behave under sustained heavy workloads?

The Snapdragon X2 Elite is designed for efficient performance, but sustained heavy workloads may trigger thermal management that reduces clock speeds to maintain safe operating temperatures.

What are the noise and heat levels like when running demanding tasks all day?

Under continuous load, the cooling system will increase fan speed, resulting in audible airflow and a warm chassis, particularly near the hinge area.

Which accounts or peripherals are required to start using Windows 11 Pro on this device?

A Microsoft account or organisational Azure AD tenant is required for initial Windows 11 Pro setup, and a Wi-Fi 7 compatible router is needed to use the Wi-Fi 7 capability.
