The Microsoft Surface Laptop 8 EP2-60785 is a 15-inch Copilot+ PC notebook powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. It ships with 64 GB of memory and a 1 TB solid-state drive. The 3270 x 2180 PixelSense touchscreen runs Windows 11 Pro and includes a webcam with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Professionals needing extensive multitasking

The 64 GB memory configuration suits workloads that keep many large applications and data sets resident simultaneously. Buyers who need user-replaceable storage, discrete graphics acceleration or a lighter ultraportable should evaluate other form factors.

64 GB unified memory capacity

The single specification that determines fit is the 64 GB unified memory capacity. This fixed amount cannot be upgraded after purchase, so the decision rests on whether that ceiling covers the intended workload.

Questions about this item

How does the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor perform in everyday workloads on this laptop?

The Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite is an Arm-based chip designed for high efficiency and AI acceleration; in this 15-inch system it handles multitasking, web apps and Copilot+ features with low power draw.

What does Wi-Fi 7 actually deliver on this device?

Wi-Fi 7 supports wider channels and lower latency, so large file transfers, video calls and cloud gaming stay responsive when paired with a compatible router.

Will the 5.3 lb weight and 15-inch chassis fit in a standard laptop sleeve?

At 5.3 lbs the notebook is on the heavier side for a 15-inch ultraportable; check sleeve interior dimensions against the chassis depth before buying.
