Microsoft Surface Pro 4 1724

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 1724 is a detachable 2-in-1 laptop with a 12.3 inch PixelSense touchscreen. It runs on an Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor at 2.40 GHz with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD. Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit comes pre-installed for immediate use.

Best for mobile professionals

This device suits users who need a lightweight Windows tablet with pen and touch input for note-taking or annotation. Buyers who want a built-in keyboard or discrete graphics for heavy creative work should look at something else. The 8 GB memory limit also rules out intensive multitasking.

256 GB SSD storage capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 256 GB solid-state drive. It determines how many applications and local files you can keep on the device without external storage. Verify that this capacity matches your workload before purchase.
