Refurbished Surface Pro 7 with Core i7

This refurbished Microsoft Surface Pro 7 delivers a quad-core Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor with 16 GB of onboard memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive. The 12.3 inch PixelSense display offers 2736 x 1824 resolution at 267 PPI with 10-point multi-touch. It ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit and is eligible for a Windows 11 Pro upgrade.

Detachable design with hidden venting

The signature unibody magnesium casing uses hidden perimeter venting for passive cooling without visible grilles. The detachable style allows use as a tablet or laptop when paired with a compatible Type Cover. Integrated sensors include ambient light, accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer. Firmware TPM and Windows Hello face sign-in provide enterprise-grade security.

Suits mobile professionals needing pen and touch

Buyers who want a lightweight 2-in-1 with stylus support and a 3:2 aspect ratio display will benefit from the form factor. Users requiring user-upgradable memory or storage should look elsewhere because both are soldered with zero available slots. Gamers or creators needing discrete graphics performance will not be served by the integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB of onboard memory or 512 GB SSD need upgrading later?

Both the 16 GB memory and 512 GB SSD are soldered to the board with zero available slots, so neither can be upgraded after purchase.

What limits sustained performance first on the Core i7-1065G7?

The hidden perimeter venting relies on passive airflow; under continuous load the quad-core Ice Lake chip hits thermal limits before power limits.

How loud and hot does the magnesium chassis get during all-day use?

With no moving fans, the unibody magnesium casing becomes the heatsink — surface temperatures rise noticeably but operation stays silent.
