What the Surface Pro 8 Is

The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is a 13.0 inch Windows 11 Pro tablet powered by an Intel Core i5-1135G7 quad-core processor running at 2.4 GHz. It includes 8GB of memory and 512GB of built-in storage. The device targets professionals and students who need a portable touchscreen computer for office applications, web browsing and media consumption.

Installation and Common Issues

Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed so the tablet is ready to use after the initial out-of-box setup. The 2.4 GHz WiFi 2 connection handles the required updates and account configuration. The sealed chassis has no user-accessible storage slots, so the 512GB capacity cannot be expanded internally after purchase.

Capacity and Headroom

The 512GB drive holds the operating system, typical productivity suites and a large local file library with room to spare. 8GB of memory keeps multiple browser tabs and office programs running smoothly. Battery life reaches up to 16 hours for light workloads, though the supplier also notes a conservative estimate of greater than 5 hours for heavier use.
