Designed for mobile professionals

The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is a 13-inch touchscreen tablet running Windows 11 Home. It combines a 3.6 GHz Intel Core i7-1265U processor with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The 2880 x 1920 LCD display and sub-two-pound weight suit users who need full PC capability while moving between locations.

Sustained workload behaviour

The i7-1265U processor maintains its 3.6 GHz speed during extended sessions rather than throttling after short bursts. Windows 11 Home manages background tasks efficiently across the 16GB memory pool. The 512GB drive provides consistent read-write performance for large project files, while the lithium-ion battery delivers up to 15.5 hours of mixed use between charges.

Pre-purchase setup checks

Verify that your peripherals connect via the available ports since the specifications list zero USB ports and no HDMI output. Confirm that 802.11AX Wi-Fi 3 compatibility matches your network infrastructure for wireless connectivity. Ensure Windows 11 Home meets any software licensing requirements for your professional applications before ordering.
