The Microsoft Surface Pro EP2-48897 is a 13-inch detachable tablet running Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core Ultra 7 366H processor. It ships with 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD. The PixelSense touchscreen delivers a 2880 x 1920 resolution. The unit weighs 3.25 lbs and supports Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Mobile professionals and inking users

This configuration suits professionals who need a lightweight Windows tablet with pen input for note-taking and annotation. The 16 GB memory handles typical business multitasking and the 512 GB SSD stores local project files. Buyers who need more memory or storage for heavy media workloads should look at other configurations. Users requiring dedicated graphics for 3D rendering will need a different form factor.

Intel Core Ultra 7 366H processor

The Core Ultra 7 366H is the component that determines AI-accelerated performance and overall compute headroom in this device. Its integrated NPU enables on-device Copilot+ features such as live captions and recall. If your workflow depends on those NPU experiences, this processor meets the requirement. If your tasks rely solely on raw CPU throughput without NPU utilisation, the value of this specific chip diminishes.
