Surface Pro 13 OLED tablet

The Microsoft Surface Pro EP2-65013 is a 13-inch Windows 11 tablet powered by a Snapdragon X2 Elite 12-core processor with 16GB LPDDR5x memory and 1TB storage. It targets mobile professionals and creatives who want a detachable form factor with an OLED touchscreen and on-device AI acceleration.

Detachable setup with Thunderbolt 4 ports

The device ships as a tablet only; a compatible keyboard cover and Surface Pen are sold separately and attach magnetically without tools. Two USB-C ports support Thunderbolt 4 and Power Delivery, so docking or charging uses the same connectors. The 39 W USB-C adapter is included, but the slim 0.37-inch chassis leaves no room for legacy USB-A or video outputs.

Sustained workloads on Snapdragon X2 Elite

The Adreno GPU shares system memory, so extended rendering or compute tasks draw from the same 16GB pool used by applications. The fanless design relies on the magnesium frame to spread heat, which can throttle clock speeds during long, heavy sessions. Battery life reaches 15.5 hours in typical mixed use, though continuous high-load work will reduce that figure.
