What this tablet is

The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is a 13 inch tablet powered by an Intel Core i5-1235U processor running at 2.5 GHz. It comes with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive. The 13.0 inch display has a 2880 x 1920 resolution and supports touch input. Integrated Iris Xe Graphics handles visual output. The unit ships in a platinum finish and is supplied in new condition.

Installing and common issues

As a sealed tablet there are no internal components for the user to install or upgrade. Initial setup follows the standard Windows out-of-box experience. The most frequent friction point is the fixed memory and storage configuration which cannot be expanded after purchase. Buyers should verify that 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of capacity meet their workload before ordering.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This device suits professionals who want a lightweight Windows tablet with a high-resolution touchscreen and stylus support for note-taking or sketching. It is not suited to users who need more than 256 GB of local storage or who require user-replaceable memory modules. Buyers needing discrete graphics performance or additional hardware expansion slots should consider a different form factor.
