Versatile Rackmount Power Distribution

The Middle Atlantic PD-2015R-NS is a 15 A, 120 V power strip that delivers 20 outlets in a shallow 1U steel chassis finished in black powder coat. Reversible mounting ears and a four-inch depth allow horizontal or vertical installation in standard 19-inch racks, making it suitable for server rooms, AV closets and network cabinets where outlet density matters.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a passive distribution unit it generates no audible noise and adds no active thermal load to the rack; the single 15 A circuit simply passes through the connected equipment's draw. A nine-foot Signal Safe cord is designed to reduce AC magnetic fields, while the 5-15P termination plugs directly into a standard branch circuit without additional wiring.

Mounting Flexibility and Outlet Access

Adjustable ears support multiple mounting methods and the outlets are oriented to accept a variety of plug styles, reducing the need for adapters in dense patches. The unit carries UL listings 1419, 60950-1 and 60065, confirming compliance for information-technology and audio-video equipment. Builds requiring more than one isolated circuit or a higher amperage rating will need a different distribution approach.
