Rack-Mount Power Strip for Eight Devices

The Middle Atlantic PD815SC is an eight-outlet power strip built for rack mounting. It provides eight NEMA 5-15R receptacles fed by a 10 ft cord ending in a NEMA 5-15P plug. The unit measures 18 inches in height, 1.6 inches in width and 1.3 inches in depth. It is supplied new with a three-year limited warranty.

Suited for Rack Cabinets, Not Floor or Desktop Use

This strip suits installers who need to distribute mains power inside a rack enclosure where the 18-inch height fits the available vertical space. It is not intended for buyers who need surge protection, metered outlets or switched receptacles. Users requiring a shorter cord, a different plug type or a non-rack form factor should look at other models.

The 18-Inch Height Decides Rack Compatibility

The critical specification is the 18-inch height, which determines whether the strip fits the specific rack unit allocation you have planned. Verify that your rack can accommodate this exact vertical dimension before purchasing.
