Pack of 100 zinc-plated steel T-nuts with three prongs for 3/8"-16 threads, designed to reinforce soft-wood fastening points
These zinc-plated steel tee nuts feature three prongs that grip soft wood securely. The 3/8"-16 thread accepts matching bolts or machine screws for a strong, load-bearing joint. Supplied in a 100-piece pack for production or repeated assembly work. Ideal for furniture makers, fixture builders and maintenance shops needing reliable blind-fastener anchors.
Standard wood screws strip easily in soft timber and cannot be removed repeatedly without damage. These tee nuts install once from the back side and leave a permanent metal thread that withstands frequent bolt removal. The upgrade is worth it whenever a joint must be broken down for transport, adjustment or service without degrading the holding power.
Drill a clearance hole for the barrel, press or tap the prongs home and the nut seats flush. No special tools beyond a drill and hammer are required. The zinc plating resists corrosion in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. The 100-count box keeps a bench stocked for batch builds or field repairs.

The 3-prong design presses into a pre-drilled hole in soft wood; match the drill bit to the barrel diameter so the prongs grip without splitting the material.
Drill the clearance hole, insert the barrel, then tap the flange gently until the three prongs seat fully — driving the bolt before the prongs are set is the common error.
Replace any nut that shows white corrosion on the zinc coating, stripped 3/8"-16 threads, or bent prongs that no longer hold in the wood.
