Pack of 15 steel clevis pins with 1/4 inch diameter for rotational fastening
This 15-piece pack supplies 1/4-inch diameter steel clevis pins for mechanical linkages that require a secure, pivoting connection. Each pin includes a head, shank and cross-hole designed to accept a cotter pin for positive retention. The hardware suits automotive, agricultural and general repair tasks where rotating joints are needed. Buyers who need metric diameters or stainless steel material will not find those options in this pack.
As passive steel fasteners, these clevis pins generate no heat, produce no audible noise and draw no electrical power during operation. Their performance depends entirely on correct installation with a matching cotter pin and the load limits of the surrounding assembly. No thermal management or power budgeting is required for the pins themselves.
The package contains fifteen identical clevis pins and no additional components, tools, lubricants or software. A cotter pin for each unit must be sourced separately to complete the fastening method described by the manufacturer. No documentation beyond the basic product description is included.

Slide the pin through the aligned holes, then insert a cotter pin through the shank hole and bend the legs to lock it; skipping the cotter pin lets the pin walk out.
Inspect each pin for bending, corrosion or hole elongation; replace any that show wear and swap cotter pins at the same time because they are single-use.
The shank hole can elongate under cyclic stress, allowing the cotter pin to loosen; that deformation is the first sign the pin must be replaced.
