Product Identity

The Midwest Fastener Corp #4-40 brass machine screw nuts come in a 100 pack for securing threaded fasteners. They suit technicians, hobbyists and maintenance teams who need a ready supply of hex nuts for assembly or repair work.

Setup Check

Confirm that your machine screws or bolts use a #4-40 thread before ordering. The brass material resists corrosion but is softer than steel, so avoid high-torque applications where stripping could occur. Verify that the operating environment does not restrict brass components.

Included Extras

The pack delivers 100 hex nuts with no additional hardware, tools or software. Having a bulk quantity on hand reduces downtime during projects and eliminates the need for frequent reorders. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to this product.

Questions about this item

Does the 100-pack include matching #4-40 machine screws or only the brass hex nuts?

The pack contains 100 brass hex nuts sized #4-40; machine screws are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose brass #4-40 nuts or a different thread size for my machine screws?

Select #4-40 when your machine screws or bolts have the same #4-40 thread; other thread sizes will not fit.

What does the California Proposition 65 warning mean for everyday handling of these brass nuts?

The warning indicates the brass contains a chemical known to California to cause cancer and reproductive harm; wash hands after handling and avoid ingestion.
