Blind rivet for single-side joints

This MIDWEST FASTENER blind rivet joins materials when you can only reach one side of the workpiece. The tubular body holds a central mandrel that expands the tail before snapping off. A dome head provides a finished, low-profile surface after installation.

Mandrel-snap installation method

The rivet is inserted into a pre-drilled hole and a rivet tool pulls the mandrel to form the blind-side clamp. Once the tail expands fully, the mandrel breaks at its designed weak point and separates. No separate fastener or access to the back face is required during assembly.

Suited for thin-panel and repair work
