Application and purpose

These zinc-plated steel hitch pin clips secure the ends of round shafts such as axles and clevis pins. The R-shaped spring wire design provides a reusable locking mechanism for agricultural, automotive and general hardware assemblies. The pack contains 10 clips for multiple fastening points or spare inventory.

Upgrade context

The clips replace worn, bent or lost retaining pins on existing equipment. The jump is worth it when a current fastener no longer holds a shaft securely or when a maintenance kit needs a ready supply of standard-size clips for field repairs.

Practical limits

The spring wire construction relies on elastic deflection to stay engaged, so repeated bending or corrosion can reduce holding force over time. They are not suited for applications that require a threaded or bolted joint, a specific torque value, or a locking device rated for critical safety systems.
