MIDWEST FASTENER CORP 62544 Wing Nut 1/4"-20 Nylon 15 PK

1/4"-20 Nylon Wing Nuts for Hand Adjustment

This pack contains fifteen nylon wing nuts with a 1/4"-20 thread. Each nut has extended wings that allow tightening or loosening by hand without tools. They suit applications where tension must be changed or the fastener removed often. The nylon material resists corrosion and provides electrical insulation.

1/4"-20 Thread Compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the 1/4"-20 thread pitch. These nuts will only engage correctly with bolts or studs cut to the same 1/4"-20 standard. Mismatched threads will cause cross-threading or a loose joint, so verify the mating hardware before purchase.

Fifteen-Pack Capacity and Limits

A quantity of fifteen covers small projects, repair kits or maintenance spares with room left over. The nylon construction handles light-to-moderate clamping loads but will strip or deform under high torque or sustained heavy vibration. For structural or high-stress assemblies, metal wing nuts are the appropriate choice.
