Refrigerator plunger switches

The pack contains two momentary plunger switches designed for refrigerator and freezer door circuits. They suit appliance technicians, maintenance staff, and DIY owners who need reliable door-activated control for lights, fans, or alarms. The compact actuators install directly into existing appliance housings without modification.

Momentary action and service life

Each switch closes the circuit only while the plunger is depressed by the door, then opens automatically when the door swings open. This on-off cycle repeats cleanly through frequent daily use, and the durable construction resists wear from constant cycling. The pair provides a spare for dual-door units or a future replacement.

Compact fit for appliance housings

The slender body slides into tight refrigerator, freezer, or cooler cavities where larger switches cannot sit. No extra brackets or wiring harnesses are required beyond the existing appliance wiring. The transparent colour lets installers confirm plunger travel visually during fitting.

Questions about this item

Will the compact plunger design fit alongside the existing door-frame hardware in my older refrigerator?

The compact design is made to fit easily into tight refrigerator and appliance housings, so it can sit beside older hinges, gaskets or latch mechanisms without interference.

How can I confirm the momentary action is working correctly after I install the switches?

Open and close the refrigerator door; the plunger actuator should reliably open and close the circuit each time, turning the interior light, fan or alarm on and off automatically.

What comes in the 2-pack and is any extra wiring or mounting hardware required?

The package contains two refrigerator plunger momentary switches; no additional wiring, brackets or fasteners are included, so reuse the existing connections and mounting points from the original switches.
