Product identity

This is a pack of eight plain steel tension pins from Midwest Fastener Corp, model 72804. They are designed for mechanical assemblies that need a secure, low-play connection.

Installation notes

Tension pins are driven into a prepared hole and rely on spring tension to stay in place, so a snug fit is essential. The main issue is using a hole that is too large, which lets the pin walk out under vibration or side load.

Who should buy

Suitable for technicians and DIYers who need a small quantity of reliable tension pins for repair or fabrication work. Not suited for buyers who need corrosion-resistant finishes or larger assortments for high-volume production.
