Furniture glides for hard floors

These 7/8 inch nylon cushion tack glides protect hard flooring from scratches and scuffs caused by furniture legs. The pack contains ten pieces, enough for several chairs or a small table. Nylon cushions reduce noise and friction

Each glide has a natural nylon base that slides easily without marking the surface. The cushion layer absorbs minor impact when a chair is sat down on, lessening vibration transmitted to the floor. No adhesive or additional hardware is included; the tacks are the only fastening method. Buyers who prefer screw-on or adhesive-backed glides will need a different product.

Simple hammer-in installation

Position the glide on the centre of the leg bottom and tap the tack in with a light hammer until the cushion sits flush. Pre-drilling a small pilot hole in hardwood prevents the wood from splitting. The tacks are short, so they may not hold securely in very thick or dense legs without a pilot hole. Ensure the leg surface is flat for even contact.
