1/2-Inch Birch Wood Round Head Plugs
This pack contains one hundred birch wood plugs with a round head profile measuring one half inch. They suit furniture repair, cabinetry work and general joinery where a flush wood surface is needed. The natural birch material accepts stain or finish to match surrounding timber.
Birch construction and round head profile
Solid birch gives consistent grain and reliable holding power when glued into a prepared hole. The round head sits proud of the surface for easy trimming or sanding flush. Packaged in a bulk quantity, the plugs stay organised until required on the bench.
Replaces improvised dowel cuts
Using these uniform plugs eliminates the time spent cutting and fitting scrap wood for each repair. The jump is worthwhile when a project demands repeatable sizing and a clean, paintable or stainable finish across many holes.

Questions about this item

The plugs are sized for a 1/2 inch diameter hole, providing a flush round head finish in wood surfaces.
How many plugs come in the 8891 pack and what material are they made from?
The pack contains 100 birch wood round head plugs for filling screw holes or dowel joints.
Do I need glue when installing these birch wood plugs, and what is the common mistake?
Apply wood glue to the plug sides before tapping it in; the frequent error is driving the plug dry, which leaves a loose fit that can work out over time.
