Round Weld Nut 1/2"-13

This pack contains four round weld nuts with a 1/2"-13 thread size. Each nut is made from steel and measures 3/8" in length. They are designed for permanent installation by welding onto a metal surface. Suitable for fabrication, repair or automotive projects requiring a strong threaded anchor.

Verify Thread And Material Compatibility

Confirm that the mating bolt or stud uses a matching 1/2"-13 thread pitch before ordering. Ensure the base material is weldable steel compatible with the nut's construction. Check that your welding equipment and process are suitable for the nut's 3/8" length and round body profile. These nuts are not intended for non-welded fastening methods.

Welds Permanently To Steel Structures

Once welded the nut becomes a fixed load-bearing thread in brackets, frames or chassis components. The round body allows placement in drilled or punched holes without flats interfering. The four-pack quantity supports multiple mounting points in a single job. No additional hardware is included so supply bolts or studs separately.

Questions about this item

Does the 4-pack of 931371 weld nuts include any welding rods or fixtures, or must those be purchased separately?

The pack contains four round weld nuts with 1/2"-13 threads and 3/8" length; welding consumables and fixtures are not included.

The listing shows only one size — 1/2"-13 by 3/8" — so is there any other version or capacity to choose from?

Once welded in place, what does the 1/2"-13 thread specification mean for the bolt or stud I can use?

It accepts any standard 1/2"-13 bolt or stud, providing a load-bearing female thread in material too thin for tapping.
